Women in the Woods

Is a quarterly Christian retreat centered on healing, rest, identity, and freedom, held in a peaceful natural setting away from the noise of everyday life.

Our Heart

At Women in the Woods, we believe God meets women in places of weariness, pain, and brokenness not to leave them there, but to restore them, strengthen them, and send them out in His power.

Our foundation begins with God's promise in Ezekiel 34:25:

"I will make with them a covenant of peace... they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods."

Before God calls us to walk in power, He first invites us into His peace. The woods represent a sacred place of rest a place where striving ends, burdens are surrendered, and weary souls find safety in the presence of the Good Shepherd. Here, women are reminded that they are deeply loved, seen, protected, and invited into a covenant relationship with Christ. This is where healing begins.

But God never intended for His daughters to remain in a place of healing alone.

As He restores us, He also equips us to live boldly for His Kingdom. Jesus declares in Mark 16:17–18:

"And these signs shall follow those who believe..."

Our desire is that every woman leaves the retreat not only refreshed but empowered by the Holy Spirit to walk in the authority Christ has given every believer. We long to see women who pray with confidence, share the Gospel without fear, stand firm in spiritual battles, minister to the hurting, and faithfully use the gifts God has entrusted to them.

Women in the Woods is the journey from God's peace to God's power from finding rest in His presence to living courageously for His glory.

The retreat may last only a weekend, but our prayer is that it becomes the beginning of a lifelong pursuit of Jesus, where healing continues, faith deepens, and women increasingly reflect Christ in every area of their lives.
