Josi and Clarissa a Legacy of Service to God's People ..
Josi and Clarissa are a mother-daughter united by a shared love for Jesus and a legacy of serving His people.
For more than 40 years, Josi has faithfully served the body of Christ, including over 20 years of pastoral ministry and many years of ministering through music. Yet she has always said that her greatest ministry has been raising her children. Today, she supports and partners with the vision God placed in her daughter’s heart, creating a spiritual legacy that will impact generations to come.
Clarissa began serving the local church at a young age in her parents' church and, since then, has faithfully served other churches. In 2021, God began planting a vision in her heart to create Christian women's retreats where women could come encounter Jesus, experience healing, and walk boldly in their purpose.
In 2022, that vision became a reality with the launch of Women in the Woods. Then in 2025 Adorned Women's Conference was launched. Adorned created a space for women who attended WITW to reunite and for women from other churches and denominations to gather to worship Jesus together.
Together, Josi and Clarissa continue to serve God’s people with faithfulness, love, and a shared desire to see women and families flourish in Christ.

About Our Ministry
The House of Palm Foundation is Rooted in Psalm 92:12,
"The righteous will flourish like a palm tree," the House of Palm Foundation exists to help women flourish through a life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.
We walk alongside women from pain to purpose, helping them identify and heal from past wounds through the truth of God's Word, discover their identity in Christ, and confidently live out their God-given purpose.Through discipleship, quarterly retreats, annual conferences, and strategic partnerships, we create spaces where women encounter Jesus, experience healing, and are equipped to live lives that glorify Him.
We believe that healed women transform the world around them. Their transformation becomes a testimony that impacts future generations and advances the Kingdom of God.
Our vision is to see women healed walking in purpose and deeply rooted in Christ, flourishing like the palm tree, and living lives that reflect His love, truth, and purpose wherever He calls them.

In 2021, during the pandemic, the Lord began placing the vision for Women in the Woods on Clarissa’s heart. While she was sick and confined to her bed, with nowhere to go and nothing to do but be still, the Lord gently reminded her how much He missed her and desired time alone with her.
As Clarissa repented for allowing busyness to pull her away from His presence, the Lord commissioned her to call His daughters away from the noise and back to a place of rest. Women in the Woods was born from that invitation a sacred space where women can be still with Jesus, rest in His presence, and return to their first love, just as He so graciously invited Clarissa to do. Clarissa shared the vision with her mom, and they began to pray. They didn't know in just a short year later the lord would have them launch the first WITW.
In 2022, we launched our first Women in the Woods which sold out in a few days and was held on March 11-13, 2022. Since then, the goal has been to host three retreats a year (quarterly retreats).
In 2023, we hosted three retreats: Idyllwild, March 24-26; Lake Arrowhead, June 9-11; and Lake Arrowhead, October 20-22.
In 2024, we hosted two retreats: Lake Arrowhead, March 22-24, and Big Bear, October 18-20. In 2025, we hosted one retreat in Lake Arrowhead.
In 2025, we hosted one retreat in Lake Arrowhead. In 2025, Adorned Women's Conference was launched with our first Conference being held in Pomona, CA, with over 230 attendees. The Lord moved mightily, and this was the beginning.
In 2026, we hosted two retreats: Lake Arrowhead, March 20-22; June 26-28; and one happening in Lake Arrowhead, September 25-27.
At the beginning of the year, we also, hosted our second Women's Conference in Riverside, CA, with over 200 women in attendance.
